Castel Annenberg winery

Our wines are a true declaration of love for South Tyrol, a glowing tribute and a strong affirmation of our Vinschgau roots.

The Castel Annenberg winery is located at an altitude of around 1,000 metres, sitting above the market town of Latsch. The views down into the Etsch Valley are breathtaking and reflect our deep bond with this special part of the world. After all, Latsch is the birthplace of the father and grandfather to members of our family, the aerospace pioneer Manfred Fuchs. He may well have moved to northern Germany at a young age to further his career, but his passion for his homeland of South Tyrol never dwindled. He instilled this passion in us and continued to nurture and develop this close bond throughout his life.

This is where the idea came from in 2009 to purchase Castel Annenberg together as a family and to breathe new life into the historic estate by producing wine here. Today, three outstanding white wines and two excellent red wines highlight our deep affection for South Tyrol and its people.
